Austin: Haven't heard of any teaching jobs, sorry, maybe Busan
would be easier, more opportunities for you I think, 2010-02-23 23:12:33
Austin: Chris, looks like we will be meeting up Sunday for a chat,
think I won't be drinking but we'll see. As for the golf,
went for JB Holmes top 10, 3.4 was pretty decent odds I
thought in a weak enough field. Will it finally be
Mickleson's week, 2010-02-23 23:14:16
Struckett: Funny you should say that i have 2 main bets holmes and
mickelson..plus lots of little bets...looking forward to
catching up c u sunday..hopefully we will both be happy with
the way the golf is going... 2010-02-24 03:40:13
Austin: Not a bad start I suppose, I'm still convinced the US tour
is a lottery, Villegas was -6 after 8. Hopefully you have a
little on your buddy Rose, seeya Sun, will have the fridge
stocked for you, 2010-02-25 20:54:59
Struckett: Yeah had a little e/w at 80-1...villegas has never led a an
entire tounnament in his life so hopefully he will fade
away...when i first got up holmes was 116th and plus 2 so he
fought back well..early days yet ...c u sunday 2010-02-26 00:52:34
Austin: It's official, taking a break from the US tour for a while,
cheers for the lunch Sun Chris, all the best for your
birthday tomorrow, was great seeing the girls, it's a good
thing they take after their mother, see you soon enough
hopefully, 2010-03-01 06:28:10
Paulyuna: Hi Everyone. We are a western/ korean couple newly arrived
in Korea and we would like to meet other couples for
friendship, fun and cultural exchange. If you would like to
make friends please email us at paulyuna@yahoo.com
Hope to hear from you soon. 2010-03-07 01:11:10
Austin: The best way to met people is to come out for a beer or a
juice. Doesn't matter if you guys are not into drinking,
the bar is the easiest way to meet people. After you meet
some new people, you can arrange to go hiking, touring, head
out for dinner, whatever you're interested in. Anyways,
welcome to town, might see you around at some stage, 2010-03-08 20:51:51
Paulyuna: Actually we would like to meet some couples who are
interested in meeting other couples for friendship, fun and
cultural exchange etc... So far we have only met singles and
mostly guys so we would really like to meet people to make a
4 some.. Any tips???? We have only been in Korea for a few
weeks now. By the way we appreciate your frienship and your
kind post on your forum. Thank you!!! 2010-03-09 16:23:00
Austin: Are you guys living in Changwon or a different city? Some of
my friends are married to Korean women and have kids, do you
guys have any kids? 2010-03-09 20:21:52
Paulyuna: No no kids but my wife is from Masan she's 27 Korean age
and I'm a little bit older well more than a little bit
older. She loves meeting foreigners of course both men and
women and she is eager to make friends. To be honest It
doesn't really matter about couples but as it happens
singles tend not to be that interested in making friends
with couples and when they know you are married they tend to
shy away , so that is why we thought it a good idea to try
make friends with people like us in our situation. Anyway
once again we both appeciate the kindness that you have
shown ant it is obvious that you are a very nice warm
hearted person. Thankyou!!! 2010-03-09 20:48:28
Austin: There are a few places in Masan foreigners hang out, Joyces,
All that Jazz, maybe you'd like to check these places out.
If all else fails, you can always head in here to meet some
people. Also, I think, it will be easier to meet people when
the weather gets warmer as everyone will come out of
hibernation! 2010-03-10 20:27:08
Paulyuna: Have you heard about club desire in Gangnam.
I hear this is a good place to meet people. You are right
about the weather by the wat pretty horrible right now. 2010-03-11 20:38:10
Austin: There will be some people out tomorrow night but the big
party is on Saturday, check the facebook group, 2010-03-16 07:58:50
BruceLee: I reckon all that waddle from Paulyuna is a bit of a wind
up, what what!!!
All the same Austin how are you? Is Aussie Mike still doing
recruiting, or have you got any leads for me old chap.
October fest, "chuckle-snort". 2010-04-05 11:05:10
Austin: I think Aussie Mike is still recruiting but I don't see him
much these days, not too many decent jobs around to be
honest. Most people try and get into public school these
days, they hire, Sept and March, things are good here, more
relaxed than when you were here last, lots of the lads
married with babies on the way. Hope things are good in
England, Arsenal having a good season, lets hope they can
finish well, 2010-04-06 01:24:54
Austin: TTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRR!thats all I
have to say at the moment, top 10 finish 1.82, best bet of
the year so far, 2010-04-06 01:25:48
Austin: Jim, Chris, who do you guys fancy for the Masters, Tiger top
ten finish and Harrington to win, don't give Anthony Kim
much chance but I guess we will find out Thursday, 2010-04-06 01:27:09
BruceLee: No, doubt it will be Changwon or Public school, have always
prefered to work with kindergarten and will probably look
for a position in a coastal town, need that sea air. Will be
in Kyungnam area, so will pop over to say hello. Don't
worry no wild nights for me (well not too many), got the
misses these days, no shambolics allowed. No kiddies in the
foreseeable future, thank god!!! Iintrigued to know who has
got married and expecting babies? James got married, is he
expecting? Tiger Woods on his first come back, that could be
some brave betting. Ps national soon, got any tips??? 2010-04-06 07:57:25
BruceLee: Arsenal just not got it! Not against Barcelona any how.
Chelsea, utd and most of the top 7 or 8 premiership teams
may have done better, by simply trying to out muscle them,
Inter could beat them in the semi final. Arsenal tried to
play their game, but that game was the same style as Barca,
and they just kicked our arses, well Messi did, caused a
write old bloody mess. If we don't get a win against Spurs
next week, forget any trophies, agaaaaiiiinnn. 2010-04-06 14:43:09
Austin: Messi is one class player, stayed up and watched the first
half, was enough to see Arsenal out of the Champions League.
Barcelona are a different class, hopefully they go on to win
it. 2010-04-06 23:00:52
Dirtyjohn10: Hi Bruce Lee,
Yes, getting into the public school system is a thousand
times better than anything private . I`m in Japan working
for the Board of Education: I get 10 weeks , FULLY PAID
holidays every year, 3-4 lessons per day with whole days
being cancelled for a variety of reasons and 3.1 million won
per month. The only downside is that you have to pay for
your own accommodation. Other than that, teaching in Japan
is one long gravy train with easy money. Sorry to hear about
Arsenal. LFC aren`t doing that great either. 2010-04-07 00:30:23
BruceLee: Yeah, bloody MESSI night for the gunners! Can't see Utd or
Chelsea dropping any points in the league either. Took
Mia's brother to see Arsenal v Bolton, 4-2 to us, some
roller coaster ride though. Dirty, how are you? Japan is
great, it will suit you dirty bugger!!! Mia would not want
to live there though, got to take her home now, she has been
gone for three years now. Fraid it is still kindergarten all
the way for me. 2010-04-07 13:54:58
BobV: Hey Austin. Hope you remember me. Looks like you have been
busy lately with other businesses.
I may be in the area again later in the summer. Hope you are
still aroind and we can catch up over a beer or two.
It'll be nice to see some familiar faces. 2010-04-25 18:35:12
Austin: I've met a lot of Bobs over the last 7 yrs, I'm sure
I'll remember you when I see you, safe trip, 2010-04-25 20:24:53
BruceLee: What a night for Fulham, at least one English (London) club
a making moves in Europe. I will consider myself an
honourary cottage supporter for one night only!!!! 2010-05-01 03:26:09
BruceLee: Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers;
The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George 2010-06-23 00:59:01
BruceLee: Sorry Austin, nothing to sinister meant with it, love and
peace, god knows we need the motivation though!!! 2010-06-23 01:00:24
Dirtyjohn10: Some glorious and inspirational Shakespearean words there
Pete. You`re right about the motivational factor, although I
don`t know if that will be enough to get past the Germans.
Since we`re feeling jingoistic, here are some more uplifting
words - `There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word
which means more to me than any other, that word is
England.` Sir Winston Churchill. 2010-06-24 18:04:32
